Okay Mandy, this one's for you.
I purchased an external flash. A 430EX II to be exact. It was cheaper than the 580EX, and I think it is going to be a good fit for me to get started on using an external flash. I am still struggling a bit in all the photography jargon, but I am getting it. So, Mandy, I know this post is short, but I wanted to let you know that I am taking on your challenge and hope to blog more soon about it!

how exciting! I'll bet its hard work practicing with it, it would be a challenge for me. I can't wait to see how it goes!
